Channel 10 has confirmed it will stream The Traitors UK Celebrity Edition in Australia, with episodes available via the network’s online platform from October.
The series, hosted in the UK by Claudia Winkleman, brings together 20 well-known personalities for a high-stakes competition centred on strategy, deception and teamwork. Contestants will take part in a nine-part format, vying for up to £100,000, with winnings directed to charities of their choice.
The UK production features a wide-ranging line-up, including Alan Carr, Charlotte Church, Clare Balding, Jonathan Ross, Paloma Faith, Stephen Fry and Tom Daley, among others.

While Channel 10 has confirmed the program’s availability for streaming, the broadcaster has not yet announced whether the series will air on its free-to-air channels.
The move adds to 10’s reality portfolio at a time when industry speculation is increasing that the network may also soon commission its own local edition of The Traitors Celebrity Edition, with filming likely to take place in New Zealand.
Channel 10 has previously aired two local seasons of The Traitors in Australia before resting the format due to soft ratings. Since then, rights holders have shopped the format to all three of Australia’s commercial networks, hoping to find an Australian home for the format, which has been hugely successful in the UK and US.
TV Blackbox understands Channel 7 went very close to commissioning a local version of The Traitors in 2024, but ultimately opted against the move. Channel 10 will confirm its 2026 broadcast line-up at its annual Upfronts event in coming months
The Traitors UK Celebrity Edition will be available to stream in Australia on 10 Play from October. At this stage, free-to-air broadcast details have not been confirmed.
