“I was telling [the brothers], if they saw me on skates, it would be pretty bad,” Gausman told CityNews before the game. “Zero hockey skills. None.”
Some have said that Chris looks like Gausman. Maybe it’s the hair? Maybe it’s the smile?
Matter of fact, Chris even said he’s been stopped at the airport a few times by fans thinking he was Gausman.
The Tanev brothers grew up cheering on the Blue Jays, so despite playing for different teams on the ice, they’re certainly rooting for the same team on the baseball diamond.
