Tony Jones has some pointed words for Oscar Piastri’s teammate and rival Lando Norris as the Formula 1 championship battle heats up.

The Melbourne-born Piastri took a big step in his bid for a maiden Formula 1 title overnight, winning the Dutch Grand Prix in the same race Norris had to retire due to engine trouble.

“He’s a great driver,” Jones said on 3AW Mornings about Norris.

“But I always get the impression that he sooks up when Oscar (Piastri) does well. He was the number one driver and quite clearly it’s now Oscar.

“I don’t feel sorry for him at all.”
