Setting the stage for a fantastic week of mixed martial arts greatness, the Contender Series brings to the forefront some of the best prospects not signed to the UFC in DWCS 80. In the main event, Lakeville MMA product Jack Congdon comes to blows with multi-time LFA headliner Jean-Paul Lesbosnoyani. Before that, the undefeated Theo Haig tests himself against Polish standout Cezary Oleksiejczuk in the DWCS 80 co-main event.

Recovering from his last defeat with the utmost style, Congdon has won his last three bouts in row by stoppage, including two first round rear naked chokes. Looking to extend his time in the win column even further, the Massachusetts fighter walks into the Apex with all the confidence in the world.
Paying his dues on the regional scene, Lebosnoyani has recorded a gargantuan amount of success over the past few years, getting the chance to headline two separate LFA cards, going 1-1 in both of them. Although he never fought for that promotion’s welterweight strap, “Mufasa” has an even grander reward on his agenda during his trip to Las Vegas: a UFC contract.

DWCS 80 Co-Main Event
Starting his professional career back in 2022, Haig has remained flawless in his last six trips to the cage. While his upcoming adversary stands as the most steadfast opponent he has faced to date, the Bellator veteran remains determined to keep his unblemished record intact.
Competing largely in the Polish combat sports company FEN (Fight Exclusive Night), Oleksiejczuk is easily one of the top up-and-coming names in all of Europe. Scoring the organization’s 170-lb belt on two occasions and racking up three total title defenses, the 25-year old appears to be entering his prime as he endeavors to become a UFC fighter.
