TEMPE, Ariz. (July 21, 2025) – Another year, same impressive honors. The Chattanooga Mocs men’s and women’s tennis programs have earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Team Academic honors while a combined 10 student-athletes claimed individual Scholar-Athlete awards, the organization announced Monday.
Chattanooga’s women’s tennis program earned its 15th-straight ITA All-Academic Team honor with the men’s program upping its consecutive mark to 11-straight years. The 10 combined individual ITA Scholar-Athlete awards in 2024-25 solidifies back-to-back years with 10+ honorees after last year’s near record of 17 on the scholar list.
– *For a team to be named an ITA All-Academic Team, the program must average a team GPA of 3.2 or better (on a 4.0 scale). To be labeled an ITA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must contain an overall GPA of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) for the current academic year.
MEN’S TENNIS ACADEMIC HONORS
Following the 2024-25 academic year, the men’s tennis team finished with a 3.54 overall GPA and totaled its 10th time with a 3.5+ team GPA in program history. Gabriel Castillo and Kristof Kincses finished with perfect 4.0 GPAs while the team tied a program record with 12 on the AD’s Honor Roll (3.0+).

WOMEN’S TENNIS ACADEMIC HONORS
The women’s tennis program capped off the 2024-25 academic year with a 3.44 overall team GPA, notching its 25th 3.40+ team GPA in program history and third-straight dating back to 2022-23. Rozalie Dohnalova and Alice Hall posted perfect 4.0 GPAs while the team placed 100-percent of its roster (8) on the AD Honor Roll (3.0+).
