KEWADIN, Mich. – Bradley Women’s Golf rallied to place second in the A-Ga-Ming Invitational after recording the program’s lowest 18-hole team score in two years in the final round.Â
The Braves scored an even-par 288 on the final day, nine strokes better than the next-best final round score, to rally to a runner-up finish after beginning round three placed fifth. Three golfers fired one-under-par 71s in round three. The final round score is the program’s best since 2023 and is the second-best final round score in program history.
Individually, Bradley placed two golfers in the top 10 and five Bradley golfers placed 20th or better. All Braves finished at least 25th overall in the season-opening tournament.
Senior Caroline McConnell led the Braves individually, placing tied for third, scoring two even-par 72s and a one-under-par 71 in the tournament.Â
Sophomore Alyssa Mixon started her second year on the Hilltop strong, firing a career-low 71 in rounds one and three to garner a ninth-place finish.
Jillian Cosler placed just outside of the top 10, placing 11th with a score of 222.Â
Senior Allison Pacocha and sophomore Peyton Coburn each finished with tournament scores of 226 (T20), with Pacocha firing a third-round 71 to vault her into the top 20.
Freshman Addison Jennings rounded out the Braves, placing tied for 25th with an 11-over-par 227.
Overall, Bradley finished 17 strokes over par at 881 (292-301-288). The 54-hole score is the program’s lowest since the 2023-24 Redbird Invitational and is tied for the third-lowest such score in program history.
