Meghan Markle is giving fans a rare look at family life with Prince Harry and their two children while celebrating the release of season two of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.
On Monday, September 1, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, posted a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos to Instagram, capturing some candid moments from filming. Among the images were snapshots of Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, enjoying their time on set.
In one touching photo, the siblings sat together watching their mom through a production monitor. Another showed Archie holding the slate through the viewfinder of the camera, while a third showed Lilibet giggling in a game of peek-a-boo with a crew member.
Markle also sprinkled in a few personal touches, including a picture of a chalkboard with the words “A high tide raises all boats,” a close-up of her wedding ring from Prince Harry, and a shot with Chef José Andrés, who appeared as a guest. The final slide featured a curated playlist of 19 songs, from Van Morrison’s Into the Mystic to Ella Fitzgerald’s Solid as a Rock.
“Filming season two of ‘With Love, Meghan’ was more fun than you can imagine,” Markle captioned the post. “Part of how we kept the vibe alive? Music. Between set ups I would play a song from my phone, and today I wanted to share some of the favorites I kept on rotation! Add them to your playlist, press shuffle, and enjoy! Happy Labor Day weekend! Work hard, play hard.”
Princess Lilibet also melted hearts this week with her reaction to a meaningful gift from her dad. Markle shared the moment on Instagram Stories, writing, “Morning surprise from my husband,” alongside a teary-eyed emoji. The short clip showed Lilibet leaning in to kiss a large black-and-white framed photo tied with a bow, which rested on the family’s kitchen island. The image captured the Duchess with the family’s late beagle, Guy, who passed away earlier this year.
