Yet another follower added to Ramsay’s PSA, writing, “So important to share things like this, slap on a hat, suncream[sic] and seek shade, happy healing, well done to the amazing people who work in healthcare who do amazing work like this ❤️🙌.”

What Is Basal Cell Carcinoma?

Basal cell carcinoma is both the most common type of skin cancer and the most common type of cancer overall, according to the Cleveland Clinic. More than 4 million cases are seen each year in the U.S.

Signs of basal cell carcinoma include:

Lumps, bumps, scabs, or scaly lesions on the skin

A lump that is slightly translucent and similar to the normal skin color, or white to pink, brown to black, or black to blue.

A lump that is shinier than the skin around it, with visible blood vessels

A lump that grows slowly over time

A lump that forms an ulcer, which may bleed with contact or ooze clear fluid.

Hopefully, Ramsay has a speedy and uncomplicated recovery!
