Happy Head, a dermatologist-founded precision wellness company specializing in hair preservation and restoration, has announced the launch of StrandIQ, which it says is the world’s first DNA-powered hair growth system.
The new program uses genetic analysis to deliver personalized insights and treatment recommendations, aiming to remove the guesswork from traditional hair loss solutions.
At the center of StrandIQ is a simple at-home cheek swab. Samples are analyzed in CLIA-certified labs, decoding over 500 genes linked to hair growth, scalp health, and treatment responsiveness. Within weeks, users receive detailed reports outlining genetic predispositions such as nutrient processing deficiencies, scalp hydration and sensitivities to common hair growth ingredients like Minoxidil, Finasteride, and Dutasteride.
