BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women’s golf team and head coach Gerrod Chadwell unveiled the 2025-26 schedule Monday highlighted by the 22nd “Mo” Morial Invitational and multiple appearances on Golf Channel.
The Aggies open the season at the Carmel Cup Aug. 29-31 for the fourth consecutive season. The Carmel Cup is held at the prestigious Pebble Beach Golf Links in Monterey, California. Texas A&M has come in at least fourth in the past three trips, including a runner-up finish in 2022.
The Maroon & White follows the Carmel Cup with a trip to Grand Haven, Michigan, to compete in the Folds of Honor Collegiate at American Sand Dunes Golf Club Sept. 8-10. The tournament will be broadcast on Golf Channel each day.
The Aggies remain on Golf Channel Oct. 7-8 at the NB3 Match Play at Twin Warriors in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. The match play event features bouts against Arizona, New Mexico and New Mexico State.
To wrap up the fall, the Aggies compete at the Jim West Invitational (Oct. 19-20) and Baylor One Day (Oct. 28).
The spring tees off with the Therese Hession Regional Challenge (Feb. 1-3) at Ridgewood Country Club in Palos Verdes, California. Texas A&M returns to Palos Verdes March 9-10 at the GameAbove Invitational at the Rolling Hills Country Club.
Texas A&M competes at the Moon Golf Invitational (Feb. 15-17) and Charles Schwab Collegiate (March 23-24) before returning home to host the 22nd “Mo” Morial Invitational April 6-8. The Aggies have won the “Mo” the past two times, including a 38-shot victory last season.
The postseason begins at the SEC Championships at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, April 17-21. After NCAA Regionals May 11-13, the NCAA Championships take place May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
The Aggies are led by Chadwell who has taken the program to unprecedented success during his tenure. Since his appointment in 2021, the Maroon & White has advanced to match play at the NCAA Championships three times with two semifinal appearances in 2022 and 2023. The Aggies also won the 2023 SEC championship and saw the program’s first individual national champion crowned in 2024.
This past recruiting cycle for the Aggies produced the No. 2 class in the country, highlighted by three top 10 signees in the country. Chadwell also signed a top 100 amateur in the world this past offseason in Luise Reau who was the two-time Sun Belt Golfer of the Year during her time at Georgia Southern.
Returning for the Aggies are All-Americans Cayetana Fernández García-Poggio and Vanessa Borovilos. The pair led Texas A&M to its fourth-straight NCAA Regional appearance last season and earned Golfweek All-America Third Team and Honorable Mention honors, respectively, this past year.
