Dancing With the Stars pro Ezra Sosa is preparing to re-do his ballroom debut during season 34, and he’s throwing shade at his season 33 partner, Anna Delvey, in the process.
“POV: I actually have a shot this year,” Sosa, 24, wrote over a TikTok video with new partner and Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles.
The video, set to John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s hit “So This Is Christmas (The War Is Over),” was simply captioned, “The war is over.”
Sosa was partnered with convicted felon Delvey for his first season on the competition series. The pair were eliminated during Week 2 when Delvey infamously claimed she took “nothing” away from her experience.

“I feel that the show so obviously used me to drive up the ratings, that they never had any plans to give me any chance to grow and only cared about exploiting me for attention,” she told NBC News after their elimination. “It was predatory of them to try [to] make me feel inadequate and stupid all while I did get progressively better yet they chose to disregard that.”
She added, “It felt like I was never really given a fair chance by the viewers or some of the judges’ given their nonsensical scoring. It’s supposed to be a dance competition and not a popularity contest.”
Delvey was arrested in 2017 after defrauding friends, financial institutions and more out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. She was found guilty of eight charges, including grand larceny in the second degree, and served two years in prison.
After being released on parole in February 2021, she was soon taken into custody again by ICE due to an expired visa. Delvey was released from jail in October 2022 and placed under house arrest. She told People that she was given clearance to compete on DWTS amid her house arrest.
