Geelong finished second on the ladder to have hosting rights but the MCG has no fears for third-placed Brisbane who have already beaten the Cats twice this year.
Brisbane’s last outing at the MCG was also a handy effort, beating Collingwood by 27 points in Round 21.
The Lions have featured in the past two grand finals and out to make it three in row and secure back-to-back flags.
For Geelong and their master coach Chris Scott, they are out to grab a third flag since he took the reins way back in 2011.
Both team will live to fight another day if they lose this one, but a win gives them a week of and catapults them straight into a preliminary final.
Don’t go anywhere … this one should go down to the wire.
