There is a ton of money coming in on some pretty big spreads.

A ton of money on the Broncos minus 8.5 against the Titans, a ton of money on the Cardinals minus 6.5 against the Saints.

We’re seeing some trends there?

Is Vegas smarter than we are?

Well, they would say so for sure.

Uh, but yeah, usually they are.

There’s a reason there’s all those big buildings, uh, out in Las Vegas.

Look, the Cardinals games, a fascinating one.

This opened Cardinals around 3.5, pushed all the way up to 6.5, uh, at most sportsbooks right now.

And as you would kind of expect, 75% of the bets, 85% of the money.

On the Cardinals to cover.

I think this is really a fade of the Saints as opposed to a ton of belief in the Cardinals.

The Saints obviously chose Spencer Rattler over Tyler Shaw.

When I talked to oddsmakers this offseason, I did a piece, I talked to 12 oddsmakers.

The Saints had the worst quarterback situation in the NFL, and Tyler Shaw was actually more valuable to the point spread than Spencer Rattler.

So, potentially for oddsmakers, they’re going to a downgrade in already the worst quarterback situation in the league.

I think that’s why there’s a fade there.

And the Broncos is the same thing.

A lot of bets like the Broncos in general this season.

They have a good home field advantage, they’re at home, they’re facing Cam Ward, who again, number one pick, we haven’t heard a lot about as a quarterback, kind of on Titans, a little bit of forgotten team, but this is just an avalanche of money.

This opened Broncos minus 7, it’s out to Broncos minus 8.5, had a lot of books, 80% of the bets, 92% of the money on the Broncos to cover at Bet MGM.

This is the second most money of any week one spread bet at Bet MGM, and really the only reason there’s more is because the Chiefs are playing tonight.

But the Broncos is going to be one of the biggest bet games, it’s gonna be one of the biggest decisions, and it’ll probably be the number one survivor pool pick this weekend as well.
