LIV Golf Adelaide is back and better than ever in 2026, as it announces a return to The Grange Golf Club from February 13th to 15th. This event has been named the World’s Best Golf Event twice, and since starting in 2023, it has attracted over 260,000 attendees, cementing its place as a pinnacle event in golf’s evolving landscape.

There’s heaps in store for next year’s iteration, as LIV Golf has introduced a team competition format. This is bringing a whole new level of rivalry and drama, providing fans and players with even better opportunities both on and off the field. Australia’s own Ripper GC, led by Cam Smith, will be a key contender, aiming to defend their title as the 2024 LIV Golf Team Champions.

Cam Smith shared, “Adelaide has been our pinnacle event with LIV Golf for the past few years, and it’s always special going home and having our Aussie crowd behind us – they’ve been great to us.

“The event keeps getting better every year and we are so excited to know we’ll be coming back for many years to come. We can’t wait for this year’s event in Adelaide, which I’m sure next year will be even bigger.”

Marc Leishman, a star of the Ripper GC, also shared, “It’s a highlight of the year for Ripper GC. It’s our home event, and to play in front of the home crowd is amazing. We enjoy everything about it, so I’m really looking forward to getting back there and hopefully getting another win.

“Seeing some of the best golfers in the world playing in Australia is amazing for Australian fans and the game back home. Aussies love a good time, and it’s a big week for that – being able to party and watch world-class golf at the same time is a pretty good reason to head to Adelaide I’d say. And the home fans have definitely embraced it.”

Another name to watch is Joaquin Niemann of Torque GC, who tops the LIV Golf individual standings for 2025. With several wins under his belt this season, Jaoquin’s performance really highlights the league’s commitment to expanding golf’s global appeal.

The tournament’s shift to a summer schedule also brought significant benefits, including record-breaking attendance and economic contributions to South Australia. In 2025, the event generated $217 million for the local economy, a 14 per cent increase from the previous year. The 2025 event alone attracted 102,483 visitors over three days.

The LIV Golf Adelaide event’s broadcast reach also expanded impressively, showing in 785 million households worldwide across over 100 territories.

In a major announcement during the final day of the 2025 event, it was declared that Adelaide would continue as the exclusive host for LIV Golf in Australia until 2031. This came alongside plans to upgrade the North Adelaide Golf Course, making it one of the world’s leading public golf facilities.

The 2026 event will also line up with South Australia’s festival season, featuring top events like Adelaide Fringe and WOMADelaide.

Adam Harter, LIV Golf’s Chief Marketing Officer shared, “LIV Golf Adelaide is the blueprint for golf’s next era. It’s more than a tournament, it’s a global celebration where competition, culture, and community collide.

“We’ve proven that when you make golf more accessible, you unlock new fans, new markets, and unforgettable moments.

“South Australia has embraced our bold vision, and together we’ve created a summer icon that’s redefining the future of the sport. We have no doubt that 2026 will be even bigger.”

The 2026 event is planning on elevating the experience even further, with tickets now available for the highly anticipated event. Those keen can grab three-day grounds passes and exclusive Club 54 tickets through the first-round release on LIVGolf.com.
