SAMMAMISH, Wash. – Freshman Sebastian Desoisa leads the Oregon lineup after two rounds of golf on Saturday at the Sahalee Players Championship.
 
Desoisa, one of two Ducks making their debut this weekend, is tied for 34th entering Sunday. Competing as an individual, Ramil Saelim is the highest-placed Oregon player, sitting in 18th after firing a 2-under 70 in the second round.
 
How It Happened
Saelim is the highest-placed individual after two rounds, sitting 2-over in his first fall tournament appearance. Carding six birdies and 22 pars through 36 holes, the Oregon sophomore looks to move up the player leaderboard on Sunday.
 
Desoisa made a solid start to his collegiate career, finishing 5-over after two rounds. The freshman went 79-70, cutting eleven strokes off his card from round one to round two. Desoisa carded both of Oregon’s two eagles and finished with seven consecutive pars to close a 2-under round.  
 
Tim Chang and Jay Gould-Healy ended the day with even scores, sharing a position at No. 44 in the tournament standings. Chang shot a 5-over 77 in the first round, then improved with a 2-over 74 in round two, including a trio of birdies.
 
Gould-Healy moved up significantly in the standings after shooting a 7-over 79 in the opening round. He followed it with an even-par 72, recording just two bogeys on the day.

Aiden Krafft shot a 4-over 76 in the first round but ended with a string of five consecutive pars. In round two, he recorded two birdies and nine pars to finish at 9-over for the day. After a 10-over round one, newcomer Casper Nerpin carded a 78 in round two with a pair of birdies.
