EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE women’s tennis completed its opening weekend on a high note, winning 12 singles matches and four doubles matches at the Cougar Invite.
SIUE’s lone home event for the fall included two singles wins each from returners Stefaniya Anikina and Margaux Guibal Britt as well as newcomers Paloma Hennicaux and Elena Palioura.
The Cougars matched up against players from Saint Louis and Missouri-St. Louis.
Next up for the Cougars is the Lindenwood Invitational set for Friday and Saturday in St. Charles, Missouri. SIUE faces Washington University and host Lindenwood for the event.
