Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams on goals for the upcoming season.
After a 1,000-yard season in 2024, Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams says his singular goal for the 2025 season is to help the Lions win.
The Detroit Lions have agreed on an extension with their young wideout, and experts are weighing in.
The Lions agreed to a three-year, $83 million extension on wide receiver Jameson Williams’s rookie contract, as first reported by NFL insider Jordan Schultz. Williams will receive at least $67 million in guaranteed money on the deal, Schultz said.
The fourth-year receiver is coming off his best professional season, setting career highs in catches (58), yards (1,001) and touchdowns (seven).
The speedy wideout was taken by the Lions with the No. 12 pick of the 2022 NFL Draft and has emerged as the Lions’ most viable deep threat on an offense loaded with talented players.
Here are some of the reactions from analysts and experts on social media.
