Actor Basil Joseph revealed that director Dominic Arun had approached him for a role in the film ‘Lokah’. Basil said he now feels regret for turning down that significant role. He did not disclose which character he was considered for. He shared this during an interview alongside the Kerala Cricket League team, the Kochi Blue Tigers.
Basil said, “It wasn’t in ‘Lokah’ movie—but it was in the ‘Lokah’ universe. I had the chance to play a role in that film, but I didn’t. Someone else took it. Now I feel a bit regretful about it. It was a major role. Dominic had explained the whole story to me. But due to a few other reasons, I couldn’t take it.”
‘Lokah’ is a Malayalam superhero film starring Kalyani Priyadarshan. Produced by Dulquer Salmaan and directed by Dominic Arun, the film continues to break language barriers at the box office. Made on a budget of ₹30 crore, the movie has already crossed ₹100 crore in collections. ‘Lokah’ is the third fastest Malayalam film to reach ₹100 crore and the twelfth to enter the ₹100 crore club.
