As we round out the weekend and kick off the new week, Adelaide will face a mixed bag of weather conditions, according to the latest reports from the Bureau of Meteorology. Today, we can expect a maximum of 23 degrees with possible morning storms and showers, which should clear by the afternoon to make way for some sunshine.

The coming days will bring a variety of conditions, beginning with mostly sunny skies tomorrow. We can expect a minimum temperature of 10 degrees and a maximum of 20 degrees, with winds shifting from north to northwesterly in the morning, becoming light by late afternoon.

Tuesday will see temperatures drop slightly with a minimum of 9 degrees and a maximum of 18 degrees, accompanied by likely showers throughout the afternoon and evening. The weather on Wednesday will follow suit with minimums and maximums continuing to decrease, as showers persist across Adelaide.

As the week progresses, Thursday will provide a potential relief with only occasional showers and a slight temperature rise. By the weekend, residents can finally enjoy a return to sunnier skies, with Saturday expected to warm up to a maximum of 20 degrees.

For the broader South Australian region, a strong cold front has moved across central and eastern districts this morning, which will ease off by the afternoon as it moves into Victoria. Associated weather troughs may cause scattered showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the northeast, where severe weather could lead to damaging wind gusts and hail. a high pressure system from Western Australia will start to establish more stable conditions by Wednesday.

Rainfall up to Wednesday could accumulate from 2 to 25 mm across varying districts, with southern agricultural areas likely seeing the most significant falls.

Strong wind warnings are in effect today for several coastal areas including Far West Coast, Lower West Coast, Central Coast, South Central Coast, and the Lower South East Coast. However, they have been cancelled for Spencer Gulf, Gulf St Vincent, Investigator Strait, and Upper South East Coast.
