So stars were down to take some sartorial risks while attending the 2025 VMAs at New York’s UBS Arena on Sunday night.

Doja Cat turned up the volume in a quilted blue and yellow Balmain mini dress, which she teamed with full caramel curls and a sparkling lipstick shaped clutch with a crimson pout that matched.

Ricky Martin, the evening’s Latin Icon Award recipient, was all attitude in a sea foam-hued shirt, unbuttoned to show off his chest and several sparkling necklaces.

Sabrina Carpenter, who is nominated for eight awards tonight and slated to perform, stunned in a red lace Valentino dress.

Lenny Kravitz was almost all business, as he arrived in a suit — but left his shirt at home. He dressed similarly at last year’s VMAs.

This year’s host, rapper and actor LL Cool J, took the red carpet in a checkered coat, dark shades and a colorful hat.

With fashion daredevils like Gaga and Doja also slated to perform, we’re all but guaranteed some amazing outfit changes inside as well.
