Brisbane turned on the sunshine for the annual ASGA Queensland Sign & Print Golf Club at the Brookwater Golf Course & Country Club.

The day, which had to be postponed due to Queensland’s inclement weather, attracted a strong turnout teeing off from 8am for 18 holes of golf, lunch, drinks and industry networking.

The format of the event prioritises fun and participation, with golf played in the ‘Ambrose’ style, where players in each team take turns to hit the ball from where the previous player’s ball landed.

The camaraderie is enhanced by the friendly competition, with a host of prizes on offer from nearest the pin, to the hotly-contested Survivor Ball, and of course, overall honours for the day.

This year, first place went to Team Graphic Art Mart, captained by Scott Radler, from a closely-placed field.

Damian Nielsen, member and events manager for ASGA, said the event has “a bit of everything”.

“As well as getting the chance to play on some of Australia’s most beautiful golf courses, it’s a chance for business owners, industry professionals and suppliers to make new connections, renew old friendships, and enjoy a day away from the office.

“The level of enthusiasm yesterday was fantastic, and the club put on a fantastic buffet lunch afterwards, where achievements were recognised at the prize presentations.”

The 2025 ASGA Sign & Print Golf Series is made possible by the generous support of of industry-leading suppliers Graphic Art Mart, Bentleigh Group, Mulford, ORAFOL, Signarama, SMIB, Spicers, and Bounce LED/LetterTech. They were joined in Sydney by local sponsors Ball & Doggett, Bentleigh Group, Easy Signs, and Roland DG.
