Mizuno has unveiled a new leadership structure within its golf division in the US, promoting Chris Voshall, who has been chief golf engineer with the brand for over 20 years, to Director of Golf.
Mizuno said Voshall brings “years of industry knowledge, product expertise and a deep understanding of the Mizuno brand. He will oversee the division’s strategic direction, guiding the team with a renewed focus on elevating Mizuno’s presence in the golf industry.”

Additional promotions include Tim Botschner being named senior manager of Golf Sales and Tyler Schaaf being appointed manager of Golf Custom Fitting.
Prior to his promotion, Botschne was a regional sales manager for Mizuno, having joined the brand as a territory manager in 2020. He was formerly at Srixon/Cleveland Golf/XXIO. Mizuno said, “Botschner will lead Mizuno’s sales initiatives with a focus on strengthening retail partnerships and supporting sales personnel in the field.”
Schaaf was formerly the Golf Custom Fitting manager at Mizuno USA. He joined the company in 2017. Mizuno said Schaaf “will lead Mizuno’s efforts to further develop and maintain its long-standing reputation as the industry’s fitting leader. His expertise will help ensure golfers continue to experience the performance benefits of Mizuno’s advanced fitting technologies.”
