Gannon competed in the Midwest/Central Regional Preview on Monday and Tuesday hosted by Ferris State. The Golden Knights turned in a strong showing, finishing second out of 19 teams, and Seppanen led the way — finishing in a tie for first place with a golfer from Ashland. Seppanen would lose the playoff to determine the medalist, as both had a par on the first playoff hole before Ashland’s player birdied the second playoff hole to win. Seppanen finished with a 212 total for the 54-hole event, a 1-under par total. He had rounds of 70-72-70.
