AEK and Fenerbahçe played an intense, back-and-forth preseason game full of momentum swings and clutch plays.

The game ended 102–102 after overtime, after Šarūnas Jasikevičius opted against a second overtime, leaving both teams to share the spoils.

In overtime, Dimitris Flionis briefly put AEK ahead 102–100, but missed opportunities by Armando Bacot and Flionis allowed Tarik Biberović to tie it 102–102 with 0.7 seconds left. Bartley’s last-second three-pointer also missed.

The Greek team, coached by Dragan Šakota, showed resilience throughout, with Frank Bartley leading the way with 30 points and nine assists. Adonis Arms added 21 points, Chris Silva contributed 19 points, five rebounds, and four assists, while RaiQuan Gray chipped in 13 points and seven rebounds.

For Fenerbahçe, Tarik Biberović led the scoring with 24 points, followed by Devin Hall with 22, and Wade Baldwin added 17 points and six assists. Armando Bacot and Brandon Boston each scored 10 points, with Bacot also securing 11 rebounds for a double-double.

The game featured multiple lead changes, including late baskets from both sides, and ended in a draw.

Wins for Zalgiris, Barcelona…

Kaunas “Žalgiris” closed their preseason with a 68–63 victory over Tautvydas Sabonis’ “Lions” at London’s Copper Box Arena. Sabonis, a former Žalgiris assistant coach, saw his team push hard, but Žalgiris gradually built a lead through Laurynas Birutis, Moses Wright, and Sylvain Francisco, with Dustin Sleva and Mantas Rubštavičius adding key baskets.

Despite a late push from the Lions, led by J. Williams and K. McGusty, Žalgiris held on in the final seconds with Deividas Sirvydis and Edgaras Ulanovas sealing the win from the free-throw line. Francisco led the team with 15 points, while Wright added 10 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks.

In other news, Barça began their Lliga Catalana campaign with a solid 90–81 victory against MoraBanc Andorra. Despite missing Juan Núñez, Darío Brizuela, Juani Marcos, and Tornike Shengelia, the Catalan side imposed their physical and technical superiority.

Shannon Evans led Andorra with 22 points, while the Barça scoring was spread across several players. Willy Hernangómez added 14 points, Will Clyburn 13, Kevin Punter 16, Tomas Satoransky 12.
