MLB won’t be returning to London for the 2026 season due to a scheduling issues with the host site and television networks.

The league announced the previously scheduled two-game series between the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays on June 13-14 will no longer take place at London Stadium.

Per Ronald Blum of the Associated Press, who originally reported the cancelation, MLB determined it wouldn’t be possible to convert the field and make it game-ready by the planned date because West Ham is scheduled to host its Premier League finale against Leeds on May 24.

Fox, which was scheduled to broadcast the games, would have had difficulty rescheduling because it is also the main television partner for the FIFA World Cup from June 11-July 19.
