The Glorious Model O 3, originally spotted by @therightclicks on X, will apparently have a similar aesthetic to the Orbital Pathfinder, with contact surfaces sort of isolated into various islands on the mouse, although it will likely not have the same modular nature. Underneath the organic surfaces that make up the top of the mouse’s shell is a frosted RGB surface, all of which does well to distinguish the mouse from similar gaming mice, like the all-black Keychron M7 8K we recently reviewed.

What sets the Glorious Model O3 apart from its competition is the InfinitePlay swappable battery system, which allows you to hot-swap batteries, instead of plugging in the entire mouse to charge it when it runs out of juice. The battery itself is in a standard rear-mounted location, which should make it fairly familiar to use if you’re coming from a regular gaming mouse with an internal battery.

According to the product packaging, the swappable battery packs will be able to power the mouse for 71 hours on 2.4 GHz and 130 hours over Bluetooth. Curiously, the Model O3 will also have a small internal battery to facilitate mid-game battery swaps, and that should be good for a claimed 14 hours of gaming. Theoretically, those concerned about weight could potentially make the Model O3 lighter by simply running on that internal battery and charging more frequently or by removing that internal battery for a small weight reduction.

The mouse will ship with two batteries and a separate charging base — called an InfinitePlay Battery Base — which appears to double as a 2.4 GHz receiver with DPI and polling rate controls. The base also displays the charge level of the mouse and the secondary battery, which are nice convenience features. The idea is that you have a spare battery within reach while playing wirelessly, and you can just swap them in and out, perhaps between matches, as you see fit.

Glorious Model O3 leaked specs: Sensor: BAMF 3.0 sensorSensitivity: 50–30,000 DPIPolling rate: 8 kHz (2.4 GHz), 1 kHz (wired)Connectivity: Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz, USB-C wiredButton count: 6 remappable buttons including middle clickWeight: 66 gBattery life: 71 hours (2.4 GHz), 130 hours (Bluetooth)

Much to the dismay of a handful of lightweight mouse enthusiasts, the Glorious Model O3 will apparently weigh in at 66 g, which is an entire 30 g heavier than the Corsair Sabre V2 Pro that recently also leaked via a retailer. The 66 g Glorious Model O3 is still a touch lighter than the wireless Glorious Model O2, which weighs in at 68 g (curr. $79.99 on Amazon), but 6 g heavier than the revered Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 (curr. $129.99 on Amazon). Other listed spec highlights for the Glorious Model O3 include Bluetooth connectivity and 8 kHz polling, which should make the mouse about as responsive as possible.Â
