The 2025 USA Boxing National Open wrapped up on Saturday at the Arvest Convention Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Six days of fierce competition ended with 51 championship bouts across two rings. Fans saw Junior, Youth and Elite fighters claim titles in both male and female brackets. Rosetta Stone, the official language partner of USA Boxing, presented the day six recap.

Junior Division Highlights

The Junior competition kicked off the finals. Five Junior female bouts opened the action, followed by thirteen Junior male bouts. Among the winners, Yahya Metts from Cincinnati, Ohio, shone bright. Metts secured a 5‑0 victory in the Junior male 145 lb weight class. He celebrated his third tournament win and his first unanimous decision of the week. “Six nationals in a row means a lot,” Metts said. “I bring it back home to my city. I feel good to win this Nationals and I am ready for December.”

Youth Division Highlights

Next up, the Youth division delivered ten male bouts and five female bouts. The young athletes fought hard for every point. Their energy set the tone for the Elite matches that followed.

Elite Division Highlights

The Elite division closed the day with eight female bouts and ten male bouts. Sage Rosario from Manhattan, Kansas, captured the Elite female 154 lb title with a third‑round stoppage. Rosario added a third victory of the week and a second stoppage of the tournament. “This one was really special to me,” she explained. “I want to join the Elite team and prove I am the best in the country. I will become the greatest female fighter ever.”

Elite Male Champion
