Turkish center is in advanced talks with the EuroLeague newcomers

Turkish center Sertaç Şanlı is close to joining Dubai Basketball Club, according to Greek journalist Sotiris Vetakis.
The two sides are reportedly in advanced talks, with an agreement expected soon.
Şanlı, who turned 34 in August, brings a wealth of experience, having won two EuroLeague titles (2021 and 2025), four trophies in Turkey, and a Spanish League championship with Barcelona in 2023. He also won silver medal with Turkish national team at 2025 EuroBasket.
Last season, he appeared in 33 EuroLeague games on his team’s path to the title, including minutes in both Final Four contests in Abu Dhabi, averaging 5.5 points and 2.4 rebounds overall.
He is now expected to leave Fenerbahçe and join the EuroLeague newcomers from the United Arab Emirates, who recently lost Mam Jaiteh to injury.
