Fresh from being crowned the Titans’ rookie of the year, Josh Patston has extended his time on the Gold Coast until the end of 2027.

Taking up a train-and-trial deal in 2025, the journeyman earned his debut in Round 15 before becoming a regular in the 17 each week to finish the season with eight appearances – even scoring his maiden try against the Sharks.

Having previously spent pre-season stints with both the Storm and Broncos before finding his full-time home at the Titans after growing up in Lismore, the versatile middle / edge forward is looking forward to the next chapter of his career after securing a top 30 contract.

“This year was everything I could ever ask for, getting the chance to make my debut and I’ve learnt so much in my first full season in a NRL system,” Patston said.

“I’m now super excited for the next two years having my future locked in here with the Titans.”

The 26-year-old also created history alongside his younger sister Lily – the duo becoming the first brother / sister pairing to play for the Titans after she also made her NRLW debut in 2025.
