FORMER Supercars full-timer Aaron Love will sport new colours for his second Trans Am Series appearance.
Since parting ways with the Blanchard Racing Team in March, Love has dabbled first in GT World Challenge Australia and then in Trans Am.
The latter opportunity came on the Darwin Triple Crown undercard with Marcos Ambrose Motorsport, Love speaking enthusiastically about being taken under the wing of the two-time Supercars champion.
The combination will be back at it this weekend at Sandown in a revised livery for the #45 Camaro as Hi-Tec Oils takes naming rights.
“Aaron is very fast and all of us at MAM can’t wait to see how he goes,” read a team post.
Love recorded a best result of fourth on debut in Darwin, placing behind only James Moffat, Nathan Herne and Tim Slade in Race 2.
A 24-car field will take to Sandown, with reigning champion Todd Hazelwood still 74 points clear atop the standings.
