The GIANTS have strengthened their football department this off-season with the addition of two key figures to their program.
Among the appointments, the club is pleased to welcome Jackson Dennis to the role of Head of High Performance.
Dennis joins the GIANTS from the Fremantle Dockers, where he has spent the past decade in a variety of roles within their high-performance program
Most recently, he served as the Dockers’ Senior Strength & Conditioning Manager, bringing with him deep expertise in player preparation, injury prevention, and physical performance at the elite level.
The GIANTS have also added Robbie Chancellor to their coaching cohort, following his recent success in the AFL Sydney competition where he was named Coach of the Year.
Chancellor brings a strong knowledge of the game in New South Wales, along with extensive AFL experience from previous roles at Hawthorn, Melbourne, and St Kilda, where he worked alongside current GIANTS Head Coach Adam Kingsley.
In addition to his AFL background, Chancellor has served as Senior Coach of the Western Jets in the Coates Talent League and as an assistant coach at Port Melbourne in the VFL, further demonstrating his depth of coaching expertise across multiple levels of the game.
GIANTS Executive General Manager of Football, Jason McCartney, welcomed the pair to the club.
“We’re really pleased to have both Jackson and Robbie join the GIANTS,” McCartney said.
“Jackson has developed an outstanding reputation across his decade at Fremantle and we’re excited to see how he can further enhance our high-performance program here at the club.
“Robbie’s coaching experience spans all levels of the game and demonstrates his ability to connect with the players and foster a high-performing environment.
“Both bring diverse experience, high standards and fresh perspectives that will add great value to our football program as we continue to grow and evolve.”
The pair will commence with the club in November.
