The judges loved the theatrics, but they were not as convinced with Robert’s footwork this time around. Well, kind of. He did leave Carrie Ann Inaba speechless, as she struggled to give some semblance of a critique. I mean, do you see the material?

Derek Hough said Robert’s salsa number was a “little rigid” and stiff, while Bruno reminded the audience that the judges “can’t let people go on certain details.” They were drowned out by the audience’s ravenous boos.

Robert fell to fifth place on the leaderboard. He will need to get his technique back up, with Whitney from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and Olympian Jordan Chiles continuing to both grow as dancers and put up high numbers on the board.
