Lonnie Walker IV is considered questionable to play in Round 2 of the EuroLeague Regular Season.

The 26-year-old shooting guard of Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv suffered a right heel injury late in the fourth quarter of the Round 1 contest opposite Anadolu Efes in Podgorica’s Moraca Sports Center on Tuesday. Following morning medicals, he was cleared to follow the Yellows to Belgrade, but will undergo further testing before a clash with Paris in Aleksandar Nikolic Hall on Friday. Therefore, his participation in the second continental outing is uncertain.

Initially, the early-season setback was not considered serious, placing Walker closer to probable for the next EuroLeague challenge of the Israeli club. The rest of the players remain available for head coach Oded Kattash. In the opening round of the 2025-26 Regular Season, Maccabi was forced to 0-1, but Paris is in action on Wednesday, facing defending champion Fenerbahce Beko in Istanbul’s Ulker Sports Arena.

Bouncing back in Europe’s premier club continental competition, the former Miami standout was held to three points in 14:32. He was limited to 1/6 shots, all from beyond the arc, but recorded three steals plus one rebound. Introducing himself to the league as a Zalgiris player in the 2024-25 installment, he tallied 13.6 points per contest over 19 appearances, until leaving the Kaunas outfit in February.

Coming out of the Hurricanes, Walker was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs with the 18th pick of the 2018 NBA draft. He went on to log 361 games played.
