Colts CB Xavien Howard retires from NFL; what we know

INDIANAPOLIS — Veteran Colts cornerback Xavien Howard has decided to retire from the NFL.

Indianapolis placed the 32-year-old on the reserve/retired list, days after Howard struggled in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

Ultimately, after bad performances against Denver and Los Angeles, Howard decided it was time to end his career.
