Following the surprise separation announcement of her parents, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, after 19 years of marriage, 17-year-old Sunday Rose made her first official appearance looking drawn and emotionless.
Don’t read too much into the sullen expression, though; it’s a prerequisite for the runway, with Sunday walking in the hotly anticipated Dior show at Paris Fashion Week.
Wearing a casually draped grey collared top with an unusual black tie detail, black trousers with exquisite pleating and two-tone shoes with a distinct gold Dior logo, Sunday made the line-up for Irish designer Jonathan Anderson’s womenswear debut as creative director for the French luxury label.

Sunday has been slowly building up her modelling resume since making her first runway appearance in Paris in October 2024 for Miu Miu. Before walking in the Dior show, attended by French first lady Brigitte Macron and Johnny Depp, Sunday’s most recent runway job was in March, again for Miu Miu.
Although Nicole has walked on the runway for Balenciaga, appearing in their haute couture show alongside Kim Kardashian back in June 2022, and modelled for her first Dolly magazine cover back in 1983, emerging fashion favourite Sunday turned to a British supermodel for advice.

“I actually got the opportunity to sit and talk with Cara Delevingne the night before the show,” Sunday Rose told Nylon magazine about her Miu Miu debut. “I got to ask her questions and talk to her about her experience as a model.
“It was nice to get to know her as I’ve looked up to her for a long time, but even better was that then the next day at the show, I had a familiar face who could show me the ropes.”
