The MLB Wild Card round continued on Wednesday with a quartet of Game 2’s.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto struck out nine Cincinnati Reds batters to help the Los Angeles Dodgers sweep their wild-card series. All the other series,Detroit Tigers at theCleveland Guardians,San Diego Padres at theChicago Cubs, and the Boston Red Soxatthe New York Yankeeshead to decisive Game 3’s on Thursday.

The two division winners in each league with the best records (Milwaukee Brewers, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays, Seattle Mariners) all get a chance to rest their regulars and set up their rotations for the next round, where they’ll square off with the winners of the series outlined below beginning Saturday, Oct. 4.
