The 3I/ATLAS comet is the fourth interstellar object ever detected in our solar system and one of the fastest objects ever recorded at around 58 kilometres per second. 

Believed to be billions of years old, theories have been spewing about the comet’s origins, including one theory that it’s an alien scout preparing to pounce onto earth.
