COLLEGE ROUNDUP
Lewis-Clark State did not have to look far for its latest women’s basketball player.
Kendrick senior Hali Anderson has committed to play for the Warriors next year, the school announced.
“Hali is the ultimate example of a Warrior basketball player,” LCSC coach Caelyn Orlandi said. “She is dedicated to the game, excels in the classroom and is a phenomenal person. … She can play passing lanes on defense, is very athletic, has a beautiful shot and does a great job of moving without the basketball.”
Anderson, from Culdesac, averaged 17.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game this past season as a junior on her way to All-State and All-Whitepine League honors. In 2023, Anderson helped the Tigers win an Idaho Class 1A state title.
“I chose LC State because as a young girl, I always looked up to the players here,” Anderson said. “I attended several camps and knew from a very young age that I wanted to call LC State home.”
