EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State men’s tennis will be sending sophomores Vuk Radjenovic and Danial Rakhmatullayev and junior Taym Alazmeh to compete this week, Monday-Sunday, Oct. 6-12, at the Lexington M15 in Lexington, Kentucky.

All three Spartans are returning to action after playing at the ITA All-Americans in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In doubles play, the Alazmeh/Rakhmatullayev duo stunned the competition by upsetting Georgia’s No. 84-ranked pair, Derrick Chen and Santiago Giamichelle, with an impressive victory to reach the quarterfinals. Their run included a 5-0 record, taking them from pre-qualifying all the way to the main draw, marking a standout achievement for the pair.

In singles, Radjenovic made his own statement during pre-qualifying, defeating Alejandro Melero in a hard-fought battle before falling to Romain Gales of Clemson. Radjenovic’s performance further solidified his reputation as a promising talent, showing resilience and determination in a competitive field.

As the Spartans head into the Lexington M15 tournament, all three players will look to build on recent successes.
