The Lindenwood women’s golf team finished the Coyote Creek Classic in 5th place with a team score of 958

OVERVIEW

The Lions opened the tournament with a 316, led by Sophia Lefler who carded a 76, which included team-high three birdies. She was closely followed by Jamie Daniels with a 78 and Andrea Alvarez who shot an 80. Paula Mariana Sanchez had two birdies during the front nine and finished with an 82. Rounding out the lineup was Merdith Colby who fired an 84. Individually, Isabella Buckley compiled an 81.

In round two, Lindenwood finished with a team score of 33, led by Lefler with a 79. Sanchez and Alvarez carded an 83 and 84, respectively. Buckley concluded her second 18 with an 84 as an individual.

Lindenwood saved its best round for last, shooting a 309 across the final 18 holes. That effort was led by a trio of Lions who all shot a 76. Lefler had a team-high four birdies, followed by Sanchez with three. Daniels also shot a 76, which included a pair of birdies. Alvarez and Buckley compiled an 81, while Colby concluded her tournament with an 83.
