The Lindenwood men’s golf team concluded the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate in 11th place, compiling a team score of 901 at Ridge Point Country Club

OVERVIEW

The Lions opened the tournament shooting a 296 as a team. That effort was led by Jan Wdowka who fired an even-par 72. He was closely followed by Francisco Gavilan Fernandez who shot a 73, which included three birdies. Samuel Bergenstein came in just behind him with a 74. Santiago Juesas Benet also had a trio of birdies on his way to a 77. Rounding out the lineup was Owen Shy with an 82, Individually, Ludvig Behring carded a 79.

In round two, Lindenwood compiled a team score of 307, led by Gavilan who shot a 75. His round included three birdies and an eagle on 10. Behring carded a 74 as an individual with the help of 12 pars. Juesas and Wdowka were the next two in line with a 76 and 77, followed by shy with a 79 and Bergenstein who shot an 81.

Lindenwood closed the tournament with a 298, led by Wdowka who shot a two-under 70, which included five birdies. Coming in behind him was Gavilan and Juesas with a 75 and 76, respectively. Shy had his best round of the tournament, finishing with a 77, while Behring fired a 78 and Bergenstein carded a 79.
