A lesson in grit, Paul Alamoti’s 2025 season solidified him as one to watch. The 21-year-old winger bounced back from being dropped and proved himself as a match-winner.
Alamoti was a major attacking asset throughout the season, scoring 17 tries, 15 goals and 22 line-breaks across his 19 games. He made 156 tackles with 88.6% efficiency.
The Tongan international was recalled in the penultimate round when Cleary rested 16 players and scored a hat-trick as Penrith defeated his old club Canterbury 46-26. He continued his try-scoring run with yet another double in the Panthers finals clash with the Broncos.
Alamoti was a 2019 Australian Schoolboys representative and made his NRL debut as a 19-year-old. He is currently preparing for another Pacific Internationals on the Tongan squad and is signed to Panthers until the end of 2027.

A treble for Alamoti
WHAT WAS SAID
