The day has finally arrived. Sunrise host Matt Shirvington is putting his pride on the line as he aims to rewrite history in a man-versus-machine battle for the ages.
The former Olympic sprinter is taking on Supercar champion David Reynolds in a rematch of their epic race earlier this year.
Shirvo took on Reynolds at Sydney Motorsport Park in February, but after taking an early lead was beaten to the finish line by the Supercars champ in his 600-horsepower, 5.7-ltr V8 weapon.
This time the Olympian is lacing up to challenge Reynolds at Mount Panorama, ahead of the Bathurst 1000 on Sunday.
