Alana Gee is set to make her club debut at RSEA Park against Collingwood.

Alana Gee will don the red, white and black for the first time this Sunday, with the former Sun set to make her club debut at home for Pride Round.

The former first round draft pick was recruited by the Saints in last year’s draft after an interrupted start to her senior career. The 21-year-old played just seven games in her second season for Gold Coast before sustaining an ACL rupture during the early weeks of the 2024 AFLW season.

One of the most highly rated prospects in her draft year (2022), the Northern Queenslander is back and primed to bring her versatility to a winning Saints outfit as they go head-to-head with Collingwood at RSEA Park.

“Never an easy feat, we’ve loved Alana’s dedication through her ACL rehabilitation and drive to get her body right for AFLW footy since arriving at Moorabbin in March,” GM AFLW Jessie Mulholland said.

“We’re excited to bring her mix of athleticism and skill to the side this week as we come into the second half of the season and a string of must win games.

“We congratulate Alana on making her debut for the Saints this week and can’t wait to welcome her family to RSEA Park for the first time on Sunday”

Gee becomes the final 2024 draftee to debut for the Saints this year following Zoe Besanko and Kyla Forbes, and the fourth player overall to make her club debut after Amber Clarke, Charlotte Baskaran and Arianna Clarke earlier this season.
