Walman, 29, missed the majority of the team’s pre-season with an undisclosed injury and missed the Oilers’ 4-3 shootout loss to the Calgary Flames on Wednesday in their season opener.

The 6-foot-1 left-shot defenceman signed a seven-year, $49 million contract extension with the Oilers on Monday that carries a cap hit of $7 million annually.

Walman recorded seven goals and 40 points in 65 games last season split between the San Jose Sharks and Oilers while averaging 22:46 of ice time.

Roslovic joined the Oilers on a one-year, $1.5 million deal on Wednesday and participated in team practice for the first time on Friday.

The 6-foot-1 centre recorded 22 goals and 39 points in 81 games with the Carolina Hurricanes last season.

Drafted 25th overall by the Winnipeg Jets in 2015, Roslovic has 102 goals and 260 points in 526 career games split between the Jets, Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, and Hurricanes.

Additionally, defenceman Darnell Nurse missed practice on Friday with an illness but is expected to be in the lineup against the Canucks.

Nurse, 30, skated 20:12 during Wednesday’s loss to the Flames, recording a shot and had a minus-1 rating.

The 6-foot-4 left-shot defenceman had five goals and 33 points in 76 games last season while averaging 22:22 of ice time.
