PROVO, Utah – Nevada women’s tennis’ Amahée Charrier competed in the quarterfinals of the ITA Mountain Regional this morning, but withdrew due to injury.
Charrier’s match against UNLV’s Nikol Mircheva was tied at one set a piece as she dropped the first, 6-2, and bounced back to win the second, 6-3. Following set two, Charrier withdrew from the match due to an injury.
Despite withdrawing from the ITA Mountain Regional, she still has a chance at an NCAA bid through the ITA Masters Championship next month after earning a spot by winning the Mountain West Fall Qualifier.
