It’ll be a busy week for Oklahoma City Thunder fans. There will be a lot of couch sitting and appointment viewing. Sometimes, being a sports fan takes you beyond watching just the games.

The Thunder will have a couple of documentaries released this week that highlight their NBA championship run. With the 2025-26 Opening Night less than two weeks away, it’ll be one of the last times for fans to go on a nostalgic trip before their championship reign starts.

The NBA will release a documentary called “Loud City” about the Thunder’s championship journey. It will release on NBA TV on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 4:30 p.m. CT. Jalen Williams will narrate the piece.

That will serve as an appetizer to Netflix’s “Starting 5” season two drop on Thursday, Oct. 16. The eight-episode season will feature Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as one of their five NBA stars. The streaming giant documented the Thunder’s championship journey all of last season.

This should be a fun upcoming week for Thunder fans. When you win an NBA championship, expect national recognition. Soon, you’ll see some juicy behind-the-scenes footage that would normally never be seen by the average person.
