The Cowboys are 1-17 for tonight’s game, meaning 22-year-old rookie Tom Duffy is back in the halves alongside captain Tom Dearden.
Duffy started the year at halfback for North Queensland with Dearden at five-eighth, but after two losses, Duffy was axed in favour of Jake Clifford.
Since then, Dearden has been shifted to seven and has partnered Clifford and Jaxon Purdue.
Duffy has played two games off the bench and one game with Clifford while Dearden was on Origin duty, but tonight he’s back, albeit with the six on his back.
