The Galaxy Watch 7 has the same processor and most of the same features as the newer Galaxy Watch 8, and I even prefer its circular design to the newer model’s squircle shape. Samsung has promised to upgrade it to the newest software, which will include access to Google’s Gemini for conversational voice assistance. It offers all of the basic connectivity and fitness features you’d expect, plus cool extras like body composition measurements, sleep apnea detection, and a holistic Energy Score to encapsulate your health stats.
The Galaxy Watch 7 came out around the same time as the $199.99 Galaxy Watch FE, which has a smaller screen and no AI features.
