AUBURN, AL – The Tulane women’s tennis team is back in action this week at the ITA Southern Regional Championships, a competition that will be hosted by Auburn.
The Green Wave will be represented by Summer Chandler, Natalia Fantini, Natalia Perez, Micah Pierce, Campbell Ricci and Leigh Van Zyl. The group of six will compete in both singles and doubles action.
Pierce and Perez will both see action Monday morning at 9 a.m. in the Singles Qualifying Draw. Chandler, Fantini, Ricci and Van Zyl will begin in the Singles Main Draw on Tuesday.
The doubles teams will be: Fantini/Perez, Ricci/Van Zyl and Chandler/Pierce. Fantini and Perez will get underway at 5 p.m. on Monday in the Round of 64, while the other two teams have received byes into the Round of 32, which will also be contested Tuesday.
